A vibrant contributor to scholarship in the engineering, mathematics, and technology spaces, he has published over a dozen peer-reviewed papers in ACM, AAAI and IEEE journals and conferences covering work in human-level artificial intelligence systems, data annotation, machine learning training, and more. 

Anand held a National Science Foundation PhD fellowship in mathematics. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Mathematics, and Physics from the University of California at Berkeley.
